Colleges don’t like senior slump in high school

A high school student's productive senior year will do more than impress college admissions offices. According to Laurie Hazard, director of Bryant's Academic Center for Excellence, keeping up reading and critical thinking skills can also improve the transition from 12th grade to college.

Hazard, an expert on the transition of high school students to college, was interviewed by the Associated Press for this article, which appeared in newspapers and on news sites throughout the United States.
